Diwali Celebration

On Friday 8th November, the Charville children joyfully celebrated Diwali with a series of engaging and exciting workshops. The informative sessions allowed the children to explore a delightful array of outfits, fabrics, and jewellery typically worn during this vibrant festival. They truly immersed themselves in the festivities during the Drama workshop, where they role-played the timeless tale of Rama and Sita, as well as the significant historical event of Guru Hargobind Ji freeing 52 Hindu Princes.

To further enhance their creativity and imagination, the children participated in a lively Diwali dance workshop and created beautiful Diwali art during their lessons. In the afternoon, we were delighted to welcome parents on-site to share in the celebrations, complete with an opportunity to savour some delicious Indian street food.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude for your support with this event and sincerely hope you enjoyed the day's activities!
